If you are hoping to remove mold from your home, you almost certainly already have a cleaner that can eliminate it. You could use ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, or even vinegar to clean the mold away. Each of these has their own unique advantages, and they are all incredibly inexpensive and quite effective:
- Vinegar can be used straight away without diluting it at all. A huge advantage is that it is perfectly safe and nontoxic. Allow it to sit for an hour before wiping.
- Ammonia must be diluted with 50 percent water. It is toxic and must never be mixed with any other chemicals. Allow proper ventilation and wipe it away after a few hours, but be aware that this method will not work with porous surfaces.
- You should use 3percentconcentration hydrogen peroxide. This method only requires about 10 minutes.
